Twin Cities Mission Trip - Vacation Bible School
"Let the Little Children Come to Me"
Vacation Bible School
July 18 - 22, 2010
YES, we will be going on another mission trip to Concordia University and reach out to the cross-cultural children of the Twin Cities Area. If you were unable to join us last summer, we hope you can come this summer. Just one comment from one of the women that participated last year: “This was a first for me. I loved it! We gained far more that what ever you could of imagined. We were truly blessed.”
Our theme this year is “Joy at Christmas” (“J esus O thers Y ou at Christmas”). Children will again be bussed to Concordia University in St. Paul from various Twin Cities churches. Mission Trip Workers will stay in the dorm at CSP arriving on Sunday, July 18, and check into their rooms at Concordia University for a 6 PM planning meeting. One hundred rooms have been reserved in the new Residence Life Center. Breakfast and lunch will be included for only $240 for the four days of this exciting event.

YES, we will be making blankets again. Many of you have asked already and the children loved the fleece blankets. So we're calling on you again to share the love of Jesus by individuals & societies making fleece blankets. These should be bagged in white garbage bags (tall kitchen or flex) and tied with a red ribbon. Then bring them along to the LWML District convention in Mankato in June. There are many ways you and your society can help. Personal donations or proceeds from fundraisers; sponsoring someone to attend if you are unable to attend; sponsoring a child to attend; collecting snacks and school items needed. Click here for ways you can help.
Help us get the information out. Check with your society president, each society should receive a newsletter with registration form, flyer, etc. Please add these Bulletin Blurbs to your Monthly Newsletter or Weekly Bulletin. In addition, here's a Help Wanted poster to display.
